Written Commitment Bond Terms
Most movers promise care. We write down what we pay when we fall short, and sign it with you before a single carton is packed. These are the bond's full terms, in plain words.

With effect from 14 October 2026. The Written Commitment Bond (“the bond”) is the agreement between you and Moovz Relocate Xpress Pvt Ltd (“Relocate Xpress”, “we”) for your move. It is signed by both of us before packing begins and carries your quote reference (for example RX-261014-AB12). Every move gets the bond, local or intercity. If this page and your signed bond ever differ, your signed bond is what counts.

The Price Cap
- A surveyor lists everything you’re moving, in person or on a video call, and your written quote is built from that list. It is valid for 30 days.
- For the surveyed inventory, your final invoice cannot exceed the quote by more than 5%. Anything above that is waived in full.
- There are no moving-day surcharges. Anything you add after the survey, such as extra items or storage, is quoted separately before it is packed, and sits outside the cap.
- Prices shown on the website are estimates. Your quote is the figure that counts.
Delivery Date and Delay Credit
- Your delivery date and arrival window are written into the bond before packing.
- If we deliver late, a 24-hour grace period starts at the end of the agreed arrival window. After it, we credit ₹1,000 for every further day you wait.
- Credits are settled against your invoice, not paid separately on request.
- The credit doesn’t apply to delay caused by events outside our control (such as natural calamities, riots or government restrictions), or by the destination not being ready to receive the goods.
If We Can’t Be Reached
On full-truck moves, if neither the crew nor your coordinator answers or returns your call within two hours on moving day, we credit ₹500 for every such two hours, up to ₹2,000 a day. It is measured from your call log and settled against your invoice.
Packing Materials
The packing materials for your move are listed in your quote. If what arrives isn’t as listed, tell us before unpacking ends. Once our supervisor confirms it on site, you get 20% off the packing materials line of your invoice.
Loss Cover: Included on Every Move
Every item and carton is listed on the inventory at pickup, with the value you declare, and checked off again at delivery. If anything on the inventory doesn’t arrive, we pay for it, whether or not you added Damage Cover:
Damage Cover: Optional, 3% of the Declared Value
Add Damage Cover when you book, for 3% of the total declared value of your goods, and it covers damage to anything on the inventory during the move.
- What it covers: damage visible from the outside when your goods are delivered.
- How to claim: note the damage on the delivery receipt, and tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
- What you get: your choice. We repair the item, or we pay its current value.
- Without Damage Cover, damage isn’t paid. Loss is still covered as above.
How Current Value Is Worked Out
Current value is the value you declared at pickup, less wear for the item’s age:
A payout is never more than the item’s declared value.
What the Bond Doesn’t Cover
- Items we don’t carry: gas cylinders, flammable materials, cash, jewellery, pets, liquor, and anything prohibited by law.
- Boxes packed and sealed without our crew present.
- Damage that wasn’t visible from the outside at delivery, or wasn’t reported within 48 hours.
- Damage without Damage Cover.
- Normal wear, and the internal working of appliances and electronics that arrive without visible damage.
Making a Claim
- Call, email or WhatsApp us with your quote reference, photos and a copy of the delivery receipt.
- We check the claim against the inventory and the survey photos, which we keep until your claim is settled.
- Approved claims and credits are paid within 7 working days, by any method except cash.
Payment
A 10% advance confirms the booking, by any payment method you prefer. The balance is due after loading. Until the invoice is paid in full, we may hold the goods (a lien) and release them once it is.
Disputes
We’d rather settle anything directly, using the contacts at the end of this page. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 7 working days.
If a dispute can’t be settled, it goes to arbitration at the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre, Bengaluru, before a single arbitrator, in English, seated in Bengaluru, and the courts of Bengaluru have jurisdiction. You can always go to the Consumer Commission instead; nothing in the bond takes that right away.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds are covered in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
